How to Get Telegram Bot Token

  1. Open Telegram app on your phone or computer
  2. Search for @BotFather and start a chat
  3. Send the command /newbot
  4. Choose a name for your bot (e.g., "My Trading Alerts")
  5. Choose a username ending with "bot" (e.g., mytradingalerts_bot)
  6. BotFather will send you a token like:
    1234567890:ABCdefGHIjklMNOpqrsTUVwxyz
  7. Copy this token and paste it in the form
⚠️ Important: Keep your token private! Never share it publicly. Anyone with your token can control your bot.

How to Get Telegram Chat ID

  1. First, make sure you have created your bot and have the Bot Token
  2. Search for your new bot on Telegram by its username
  3. Start a chat with your bot by clicking "Start"
  4. Send any message to your bot (e.g., "Hello")
  5. Open this URL in your browser (replace YOUR_TOKEN with your actual token):
    https://api.telegram.org/botYOUR_TOKEN/getUpdates
  6. In the response, find: "chat":{"id":123456789
  7. Copy the number (e.g., 123456789) - this is your Chat ID
💡 Tip: If you get an empty result, make sure you sent a message to your bot first, then refresh the URL.
📱 For Group Chats: Add your bot to the group, send a message in the group, then check the URL. Group IDs start with a minus sign (e.g., -1001234567890)
